March 23rd, 2012: Tom and I attempted to drive a new quad and Polaris Ranger into Bolton but ran into nothing but bad luck. It's been the most mild winter I've ever seen and it will be a record breaking early ice out this year unless we have a really cold April. May 20th, 2012: Our first guests arrive today and it's a beautiful day! It rained most of the day yesterday and we spent the previous day getting Aswap set up. The new motors are on the boats, the boats are cleaned and ready with all the nets, paddles, life preservers, seats and measuring boards. May 14th, 2012: The ice is all gone from our lakes and we're almost ready to start another great season at Bolton Lake! May 4th, 2012: Made it to the lodge on Wednesday with Tom and Trevor (T3) with the new airplane. We had to fly low and through some snow showers but about 100 miles south of the lodge the skies really picked up and we landed in the sun at camp.
