July 5th, 2005: Another beautiful day up at the lodge today, the temperature should get to at least 75 degrees today! The fishing lately has been quite good, it’s a real nice thing to be on a true multi species lake where trophies can be caught in any species including Pike, Walleye and Lake Trout. Last week it seemed like we were more of a Walleye lake because the Pike were no longer in the shallows and the weeds patches weren’t filled out enough to hold any fish but now we’re back to normal and we’re catching more Pike than Walleye again. It’s nice to have the option of going for another species and get trophies in that other species when another is turned off. Not much else to report other than good weather and good fishing so here are some more pictures from the past few days.
