July 11th, 2006: It’s been a bit cooler and wet for the past few days, but it’s probably better than the stifling heat we had just before that! Even with the heat and now the cloudy, cool days were still managing to catch a bunch of trophies! Just yesterday there was a 45.5 inch Pike caught straight out in front of the lodge at the ‘airport patch’! The hot lures lately continue to be the BullDawgs.
